Xtrutech Mechanical Engineering Apprentice’s Eddie Rogers and Oliver Beardmore have recently completed their Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Fitter courses respectively.

First to Complete

Recognised by the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education, both courses have been completed with Newcastle-under-Lyme College. Oliver became the first student at the college to complete this apprenticeship. Eddie recently celebrated his 2nd year anniversary with Xtrutech.  He will now started the Level 3 Engineering Fitter course to continue his apprenticeship journey.

The Value of Learning

Managing Director Ryan Moore talked about the value of ensuring members of the team are able to complete higher and degree apprenticeships, “A successful business is all about the people. We really value them, and we want these guys to work here for a long time”. He spoke at length about this and a range of topics in an interview with Inside Sustainability.

Xtrutech have a proud record of supporting employee personal growth. A number of our team are currently completing apprenticeships from Level 2 up to a Masters Level 7.
