Xtrutech are excited to introduce the XTSXP-19, a cutting-edge laboratory extruder which delivers enhanced torque capabilities, 100% higher motor power up to 7.8kW, and high screw speeds up to 1,200 rpm.

The XTSXP-19 is engineered to meet the most demanding requirements in biopolymers, plastics, and food extrusion processes where increased power is critical for superior results. The extruder will additionally ensure increased processing capabilities for powder coating applications.

Transforming Processing Capabilities for High-Demand Applications

The XTSXP range will include twin-screw extruders with barrel bores of 19mm and 24mm for laboratory applications. The production-scale line-up features 35mm, 44mm, 56mm, 65mm, and 75mm barrel bores, all delivering a specific torque of over 15 Nm³.

“As we continue to see a growing focus on sustainability across our industry, Xtrutech remains committed to developing advanced technologies which address market need” said Managing Director Ryan Moore. “The XTSXP-19 is the latest breakthrough in extrusion technology, designed to help our customers achieve higher efficiency and increased throughput which develop more sustainable solutions.”

Supporting Industry Growth with Cutting-Edge Technology

An XTSXP-19 is housed in Xtrutech’s state-of-the-art Innovation Centre located at our UK Headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent. Here it is available for process trials to test and refine the latest extrusion technologies. The facility is equipped with a full suite of Xtrutech’s manufactured drum coolers, water baths, and strand and face-cut pelletisers, enabling the creation of a full extrusion line for product development and testing.

Paul Latham, Head of Engineering added “Our engineering team are constantly working to push the boundaries of what extrusion technology can achieve. This additional upgrade to our Innovation Centre represents a leap forward, equipping us with the technology to enhance our offering to customers looking to fine tune processes and test the efficiency of the latest extrusion equipment.”
